The Still Light Series Part 1

The Still Light Series (2020) was created in response to James Turrell’s luminous works from 1990-91. Turrell’s aquatints, in turn, were created as two-dimensional representations of his Projection piece drawings from 1970-71, powerful works that evoked the sense of physical objects through the simple use of projected light in a darkened room.
